General & Getting Started

1. What does CGAlive actually do?

We're a design-and-growth studio: we design and build high-performing websites, then back them up with UI/UX, branding, and digital marketing so the site actually converts — not just looks good.

2. How is CGAlive different from a typical agency?

One team handles your website, brand, UX and marketing, so nothing gets lost in handoffs between vendors. Every project starts with your business goals, and every decision is tied to a measurable outcome, such as leads, rankings or sales, not just how it looks.

3. What's the process for getting started?

Tell us what you need through Get My Plan or a free 15-minute call. We'll review what you have today, reply within 24 hours with a clear plan and next steps, then agree scope, timeline and cost before any work begins.

4. Do you work with businesses in any industry or location?

Yes. We're based in Hyderabad and work with clients across India and overseas, in industries from IT, startups, D2C, creative brands, enterprises, healthcare, sports, logistics, education, real estate and more

5. How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope. A focused UX redesign of one flow can take 3–4 weeks, and a full product design project typically runs 8–12 weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline in your plan before you commit.

6. Do you offer support after the project launches?

Yes. We offer ongoing website maintenance (updates, security checks and performance monitoring), and our marketing clients get monthly reporting and strategy calls. Launch is day one, not day done.

Web Design

1. What's included in a website design project?

Strategy and sitemap, wireframes, visual design, responsive build, on-page SEO basics, and a QA pass across devices and browsers before launch.

2. What platform or CMS do you build on?

Mostly WordPress and custom-coded builds when a project needs it. We'll recommend the right platform based on how you'll update the site and what it needs to do.

3. Will my website be mobile-responsive?

Yes. Every site we build is fully responsive and tested on phones, tablets and desktops before launch.

4. Can you redesign my existing site instead of building from scratch?

Yes. We audit your current site for speed, SEO, AEO and conversion, keep what's working, and rebuild what's holding you back. Redirects and SEO are handled carefully so you don't lose existing rankings.

5. Do you offer ongoing website maintenance after launch?

Yes: regular updates, security monitoring, backups and performance checks, so your site stays fast and safe long after launch.

6. What do you need from us to get started on a web design project?

Your goals, your brand assets (logo, colours, fonts), access to your current site and analytics if you have them, and a few examples of sites you like. If you don't have everything yet, we'll help you fill the gaps.

7. Do you write the website copy, or do we need to provide it?

We can do either. We can write SEO- and AEO-ready copy for you, edit what you already have, or build around content you supply.

8. Do you handle hosting and domain setup?

Yes. We can set up your domain, hosting, SSL and business email, or work with what you already have.

UI/UX Design

1. What's the difference between UI and UX design?

UX is how a product works — the flows, structure, and logic that make it easy to use. UI is how it looks — the visual layer: color, type, spacing, and components. We handle both together so they reinforce each other.

2. Do you do user research before designing?

Yes. Every project starts with understanding real user behaviour, through interviews, analytics, session recordings or usability tests depending on your product and budget, before we design a single screen.

3. What deliverables do I get from a UI/UX engagement?

Typically user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, a clickable prototype, and a documented design system with a developer handoff package (tokens, specs and assets). The exact set depends on your scope.

4. Main FAQ: "How long does a typical project take?" only answers for UX

It depends on what you need. As a guide, a focused UX redesign of one flow takes 3–4 weeks and a full product design 8–12 weeks. Website and branding timelines depend on the number of pages and deliverables, and SEO usually takes 3–6 months to show meaningful movement. You'll get a clear timeline in your plan before you commit.

5. How do you measure whether a UX change actually worked?

We agree the metrics up front, such as completion rate, drop-off, time on task or support tickets, then compare before and after using your analytics, session recordings or usability tests.

6. Do you design for mobile apps as well as websites?

Yes. We design iOS and Android apps, web apps, portals and dashboards, as well as websites.

Branding

1. What's included in a branding package?

Typically: brand strategy, logo design, color palette, typography, brand voice/messaging guidelines, and a brand guidelines document your team can use across every channel.

2. Can I get just a logo, without the full branding package?

Yes. Many clients start with a logo and add brand guidelines and other materials later. We'll still begin with a short strategy session so the logo is built on what your brand stands for.

3. How long does a full brand identity project take?

It depends on scope. A logo project is shorter than a full identity with guidelines and applications. We'll give you a clear timeline in your proposal.

4. Can you refresh our brand without changing everything?

Yes. A refresh keeps the recognition you've built and modernises what's dated. We audit your current identity, keep what customers recognise, and fix what holds you back.

5. Will we get brand guidelines to share with our team or vendors?

Yes. Full identity projects include a brand guide covering logo usage, colours, typography and imagery, so anyone using your brand gets it right.

6. Do you help with brand messaging and voice, not just visuals?

Yes. Our brand strategy work defines your voice, values and positioning before any design starts, so how you sound matches how you look.

Digital Marketing

1. What digital marketing services do you offer?

SEO, paid search and social advertising, content strategy, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization — chosen and combined based on where your growth bottleneck actually is.

2. Do you manage ad campaigns, or just provide strategy?

Both. We plan, build and manage Google and Meta campaigns, including landing pages and conversion tracking, and we report on results every month.

3. How do you measure marketing ROI?

We track leads, cost per lead, cost per acquisition and revenue against spend, using conversion tracking and UTM tags, then report it in plain language every month.

4. Do I need a new website before we start marketing?

Not always. We'll review your current site first. If it's losing visitors, we'll recommend targeted fixes or focused landing pages before increasing ad spend, so you're not paying for clicks that don't convert.

5. What does a typical monthly retainer include?

It depends on your channels, but typically strategy, campaign or content execution, ongoing optimisation, a monthly performance report and a strategy call with your dedicated team.

6. Can you work alongside our in-house marketing team?

Yes. We can fill specific gaps, such as SEO, paid ads or design, or run the full strategy while your team handles day-to-day execution.
